Disinfectant, alcohol spray and bleach solution

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” ~ Ephesians 6:12

A year ago, the whole world was spinning out of control with a new pandemic. Today we are still not sure when it will all end.  There were (and still are) lots of reports circulating in the media.  Life changed for many of us as we endured and persevered through this “new normal.”

The picture above is of all the “weapon” (disclaimer: the word “weapon” is used as a metaphor) I use, and still use during this pandemic season.

What I do know from this period is that the battle is not over.  Not just the pandemic, I am also referring to our everyday battle.  As humans placed here on earth and as long as we are still breathing in air – we will encounter one battle or another.  Some we are not even aware of because we have a Heavenly Father who is constantly protecting us.

Over the years, I have come to realize that some of battles cannot be fought with physical weapons. Why? Because they are not physical battles. So they have to be fought spiritually!

So, how does one do that?

Know God’s Word, pray often, be on guard, but do not live in fear.  The devil does not sleep even when we are sleeping.  He is always scheming!

BUT PRAISE BE TO GOD ALMIGHTY who promises that – “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.” ~ 1 Corinthians 10:13

So while you may be fighting those around you thinking that they are the cause of your never-ending trials.  Don’t forget to get on your knees first and often.  This is by far the best weapon you need.  It has worked and continues to work for me.

Be well…

The best is yet to come…
